Muy puntuales a pesar de que dedican bastante tiempo a trabajar con sus pacientes, percibí un amplio conocimiento de la medicina.

VERY RUDE FRONT DESK ORIENTAL LADY 10/01/24 @12:20pm. WAS WAITING ON ONE OF THEIR PATIENTS TO DRIVE THEM AND THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO USE THE RESTROOM! VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. WHAT IF THEIR PATIENT WHO I WAS DRIVING CANCELED THE APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO UTILIZE THEIR RESTROOM! SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND GET PROPER TESTING AND CARE! I WOULD GOVE NO STARS OF I COULD!

The front desk is as rude as always. Made appointment for me without my awareness, so I called in the office to cancel and let them know that I did not make that appointment. The front desk who answered the phone was soooooooo rude and with no patient!

My wife Patti was taken by ambulance from Lufkin, Texas and needed an emergency procedure at UT Health in Tyler over the weekend. Dr. Kang was called in and took care of her. We want him to know how much we appreciate his skill but most of all the professional and caring attitude he had in determining she needed to be on a medication to prevent acid reflux. No other doctors at MD Anderson or here in Lufkin addressed that issue but Dr. Kang was adamant in what had to be done. Thank you, Dr. Kang. You are our hero.

Dr Kang messed up on a simple endo / colonoscopy and then refused to answer simple questions about pain on the phone, insisting we had to pay for a visit (2 days after surgery), and then five days after refusing to see us for another two weeks. His office staff is miserably incompetent and rude...and we have filed a complaint to the medical board, to Memorial Hermann, and are talking to a lawyer. Dr Kang's refusal to simply follow-up on a patient in pain days after surgery or make himself available is tantamount to medical malpractice..... RUN RUN RUN TO ANOTHER DOCTOR !!! His refusal to establish practices that his staff can follow regarding patient care is beyond subpar; it is unbelievably dangerous. We are going to urgent care to figure out why she is still in pain, because of this Doctor's callous disregard for a recovering cancer patient whop sought his expertise. Shame on you Dr Kang and you should FIRE your office staff.

First time patient. I had a 2 o' clock appointment. The office called me at 8:30 in the morning to confirm my insurance information. When I came to the appointment, however, they had not checked my insurance yet. Since then I waited TWO HOURS to be called into the office to wait for the doctor. What is the point of making an appointment and obtaining my insurance information twice if the wait time is this long? To make it worse, they accidentally charged my credit card $963 instead of $30 (and of course I was the one to catch it. and come on..it's not like accidentally putting extra zero. I have no idea where 963 came from). What made me very angry was that NO ONE really seemed to be sorry about anything.

After waiting for 2 hours, I asked for a refund and walked out as I don't think I can go through this every time I have a doctor's appointment here. Since this is a doctor's office, they probably won't lose a dime (and won't really care) by losing my business. However, wasting my time in this manner and charging me $963 "accidentally" were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Hopefully they start understanding that everyone's time is as valuable as the doctor's.

I'd give a zero if I could. His PA scheduled me for a colonoscopy on a Thursday. The next day a man there rescheduled me for the following Thursday. The Tuesday before, I called to confirm. I was told at that time that they only do colonoscopys on Fridays and Mondays. THEN WHY SCHEDULE ME ON A THURSDAY!!!! Thats a problem for me since my daughter works for MH hospital and has to schedule time off 30 days out.
Not dependable or show pride in their positions. Don't waste your time here.
