Wife just had a colonoscopy procedure done at the facility this morning. All in all, it was a very good experience. The whole thing was just over a little of an hour. Everything went smoothly from checking in to discharging. The staff is very professional and friendly. Highly recommend this place to everyone has the same need.

I had such high hopes coming here and left completely disappointed. The provider I saw Dr. Mani performed bare minimum and came off careless and made me feel unheard. He even made a comment that maybe I should see someone smarter than him, bc I was still complaining of severe symptoms and asked for other options. Prior to this event , he had performed two procedures and I was told hardly anything regarding the results other than “you’re fine I just think it’s ibs and your body’s just sensitive”. Thankfully I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere who performed other G.I testings that FOUND THE ISSUE WITHIN JUST A FEW DAYS that Dr Mani did not do telling me “we tried everything” when in fact he hadn’t. I’m happy I listened to my body knowing something was wrong bc had I stayed with Bay Area listening to Dr Mani, there’s no telling what could’ve happened to me. I will never go back but I advise anyone that does go there or plans to, to just make sure to listen to your body, speak up and make them listen to you!!

I do not usually post a review about my health experiences with doctor's offices, but felt compelled to do it now. Dr. Altug is exceptional but something is very WRONG with communication through the office staff. I was not available to answer my phone on Wednesday because I was driving and my phone is set to go to voicemail. I was able to stop 30 minutes later and call Dr. Altug's office as I knew it was probably about my tests results. I left a message with a gentleman who has been working for them many years as he was there 4 years ago when I had my procedure done. I could barely hear him and finally was able to get my message across to him that the office could call me as I would not be driving anymore that day and could take the call. This was on Wednesday and as of this morning , Friday I had not heard back. I called the office and waited on the phone listening to elevator music and repeated message about how important my phone call is. I understand people being busy, but to wait five minutes before an agent answers is not acceptable. Once the customer service agent who is the same gentleman I mentioned earlier finally picked up. I told him that I had not heard back from anyone with my results and that there always seems to be a communication problem. He responded saying that "she" whoever she is tried calling yesterday. I told hom that is not correct, no one from Dr. Altug's office called me yesterday. I had exactly 3 phone calls from Thursday and not one of those calls was from Dr. Altug's office. I have her phone number programmed into my phone and it would pop up with her name. I asked what phone number would have called me and he saud the samenone I called him on today. I said well no one from that number called at all. The gentleman commenced into cutting me off and asked when would be a good time that I would be available for them to call me back. I told him I am available right now and he said. If she can't call you right now when would be the best time. I told him I am available all day and will make sure whether I am driving or not to pull over and answer the phone. I DO NOT like being told that someone tried to call me yesterday, because no one did. I totally understand office's being busy, but I think they need to hire more than one person to take calls and to better serve their patients needs. I have tried for a year calling Dr. Altug's office and left several voicemails when no one would answer. I never received a phone call back. Finally after months someone answered the phone and I made an appointment. Of course it was 3 months away, but I got the appointment. I asked if I would get a text reminder or email as a reminder when the date got closer and the gentleman said yes they would reach out. I never received a text, phone call or email before my appointment. If I didn't set all my appointments to my calendar I would not have gotten a reminder. I see at least 4 different doctor's with all my health issues. I do my part as the patient to make sure I have all my information updated and correct insurance information when I call in to doctor's offices. I would hope to get the same courtesy from my doctor's and their staff too.

I love the doctor and her PA, but it’s hard to reach them. I had a fibroscan done a week ago and I’ve heard nothing about the results.

I have a very bad experience with this facility. They 1st accepted my appointment, then claimed that they are NOT covered by my Insurance, it ended by being seen by a PA Jesica Chen not by any doctor. They decided the date for endoscopy in 2 weeks, and they took the copay of $19 and $330 from my insurance. After a week they contacted me to cancel my procedure saying that it is not covered by BCBS. I contacted the insurance and filed a complain against them. They wasted my time and money, they treated me as a begger or homeless.

I have rescheduled my colonoscopy about 5 times and when I finally get the money tp pay for it and go in to get the procedure done I get a new price of 1200 bucks plus the 524 tye dr asked for. Tired of getting the go around with pricing. Don't recommend if you have private insurance

I have been seeing Dr. Altug for many years and am satisfied with her work.
The problem I'm having is it takes over 3 months now to see her.
I've seen Jessica the last 2-3 times. which she does a good job.
The other trouble I have is their phone answering process, it is one of the worst.

Dr. Altug and her team are amazing! Friendly, professional, sensitive to your fears/concerns, thorough, and will answer all your questions. Her nurse is so sweet and her IV nurse (Jackie) is so kind and gentle! Thank God for nurses like this!
