I don’t like leaving bad reviews for places so a place has to be exceptionally bad for me to leave a review such as this. My hopes are this review will help someone else save their time and effort and find another option, like I am.

I met with Dr Scott Mackenzie in June as a new patient. Having move to Colorado in February, I needed to find a Dr here for required annual EDGs. Understanding the need for my annual procedure, Dr Mackenzie said I should reach out to schedule my procedures in the fall.

I have reached out to the office six times. I have called the main office three times and actually went into the office in person to try and get my appointment. I emailed the office through the patient portal and nothing. I called the scheduling desk and the woman who helped me took all my info and said she could contact me back with an appointment date. After waiting over a week, I finally called the office one last time. The person took my information again and said she was emailing the office manager and the scheduling office and would contact me back within 24 hours. That was days ago.

I have given Dr Mackenzie and his staff every possible opportunity to get me scheduled for my required procedure and I’m don’t waiting. I have wasted so much time, Monday, and effort trying to get this done. I am no longer wasting my time.

I have been beyond frustrated with the care that I’ve received. After a procedure, no one reached out to discuss the results. After another test where I had positive test results and could’ve started taking antibiotics to feel better, I had to call two weeks later and ask THEM for the results. They said that they were sending a prescription to my pharmacy, but nothing ever arrived and I continue to need to call back to the clinic. Every time I call, they say that they had experienced technical difficulties but will now be able to help- but then they still do not. I have truly never felt less cared about from medical professionals.

This is a great office. Lizzy is a great assistant to Dr Scott! Dr Scott took great care by listening to all my issues. He has put a plan together to help me finally get some answers to the issues I have been going through for some time. I am so grateful and look forward to working with them in the future

Nicole has given me eating direction that is easy to follow. She is educating me about how and when I should eat. Such valuable information for diabetes. She is great at typing appointment notes and sharing them so I can look back on them.

This includes the center on West Colfax and this office. They are good medical providers but their scheduling is horrible. My appointment on West Colfax was at 8 am but I was not called in until 10:30 am to start prep. The center on Union my appointment was at 3 pm.. I was told to be there at 2:45 pm.. I left at 3:45 pm and there was one person in front of me.. this is not running a little behind and it is chronic.. I feel this is very disrespectful to patients and I wish my primary care people would send me someplace else.. I still don’t have my meds but I have another appointment in 4 weeks. Maybe I will get to reschedule this one too.
