My name is Joni Mello. You probably have me in your records as Joan Mello. “Rafealla” is my username on gmail. This was my review I left not long ago after my colonoscopy experience:

“The nurse practitioner Katie I’ve seen is a Sweetheart and I love her! Just don’t have Dr. Dy do your colonoscopy. She is rude and unprofessional and uncaring when you are having a sensitive procedure. Not only is she not the least bit personable but she is annoyed and will cut you off if you take her time for a question.”

This was your response to me:

“Dear Rafealla,
We are sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, we don't see your name in our patient database or on the past patient care schedules. Patient care is our top priority. If you would please, provide us with your name, date of service and the name of the doctor you saw in more complete detail. Thank you”

I did give you the name of the doctor in my review, and I see I’m not the only one who has left a review having had an unfortunate experience with this doctor. So it leaves me not understanding why you would keep allowing this doctor to continue treating patients this way. There’s no need to follow up with me. I’ll see Katie again….. she’s a doll….. but I’ll never allow Dr. Dy near me again.

It does seem like from your reviews that you have some really caring doctors. Also the nurse that took me into have the colonoscopy was really sweet….. I wish I knew her name.

I was horrified at the way Kelly the office “manager” treated me. Rudest, most unprofessional that I have ever seen. I wouldn’t come here if it was the last place that I could be seen. I am shocked they are still in business considering how they treated me. Don’t waste your time here. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before my appointment. I wouldn’t have even bothered if I would have seen the amount of people who have been treated this badly.

I waited for the Doctor to show up for over an hour. He never showed up. I will die before I go back.

At this practice policy is more important than the patient. I have been going here for years, but the last time I scheduled an appointment they tripled the price. It was because it had been longer than three years and I was considered a new patient. At first they said my last telehealth appointment was 2.5 years ago but the telehealth appointment didn’t count as an appointment even though it was in the midst of covid. Then they said I missed the three year mark by 4 days even though when I made the appointment it was clearly before the three years. It seemed like they were not being completely honest with me and keep on changing their minds about how long it has been since I was last in. Nothing would change their mind. Policy is more important than keeping a patient. I will now be looking for a new doctor.

Horrible by every measure. IMPOSSIBLE to get in contact with whether trying to schedule an appointment, ask a question, or pay a bill. I would have to call several times a day for days in a row to get in contact with anyone. Their message machine says they will reply within 24 hours, but the only time they ever returned my call it was literally two weeks later. Neither of the "doctors" that see patients are M.D.s, and after several appointments and thousands of dollars in bills I am no closer to figuring out my ailment. The only M.D.'s at the practice are the doctors performing the procedures. The final straw for me was after repeatedly begging them for my prep instructions for a procedure, they still didn't get me the instructions until 3 days before the procedure was scheduled. The instructions detailed steps I needed to be taking one week before the procedure..... Don't waste your time and money with these guys

I have waited a week to leave a review to try and have a level head. My doctor's team referred me to this location. My review is purely based on my interaction with scheduling. I never met or spoke with the doctor who would have performed my procedure. I'll keep the first part simple. I was jerked around with scheduling from the start. I showed up for my procedure and found out that I wasn't scheduled for that day. Colossal waste of time and money.

Here's the long story. It took a couple of weeks for the office to call me and set up my appointment. The lady was nice enough and gave me times and days available. I chose a day I already had off from work, Thursday the 24th at 2 pm. I took off the day before and the day after because I've never had a colonoscopy before and wasn't sure how I would do with the prep and day after stuff. I had the Wednesday before off and took a PTO day for the day after, Friday. I received a call a couple of days after setting up my initial appointment saying that they had to reschedule me for Saturday, the 26th. I work Friday through Tuesday but said I would try to get the time off rearranged at work. My management said they couldn't change my schedule but I could use 3 days of PTO to cover this. I tried calling the office several times to reschedule again but the phones weren't connecting. I sent an email to the receptionist who had sent the confirmation email for the original appointment. We were able to reschedule my appointment for Thursday, the 24th at 1:45 pm. Great! I already had that time off taken care of since it was close to my original time. I had the Rx filled for that nasty drink that cleans you out and was planning around the appointment. I received a call while at work on Tuesday, the 22nd. She left a message for me to call back. I called on my lunch hour and got the answering service. I left my info and expected a call back. I received an email the next day stating that my appointment time had been moved up to 1 pm and to arrive an hour early. I didn't eat anything after 8 pm Tuesday night and had a liquid diet Wednesday until I began drinking the stuff they prescribed me at 5 pm. I felt sick and weak that night and the next day. We drove over an hour to the office. I went to check in and the lady at the desk didn't find my appointment for that day. It had been scheduled for the 26th, at 1 pm instead. The change in date was not communicated to me. I wasted time, fuel, a day of PTO, and a day of overtime because I was asked to work Wednesday but couldn't. I'm out my time and $300 in lost wages for nothing. All the receptionist could say was that she was "sorry and felt really bad. " But not bad enough to catch an attitude when told a bad review would be left. She said "be mad all you want, it doesn't change anything."

My appt. Time was changed. Arrive at 1010 for 1035, no...arrive at 955 for 1030, etc. Sound like they are scolding a child when they leave pre-recorded messages. Seems to be disjointed communication between staff although they were good to me once I actually got in, No sense of basic simple humor. Need a leader in communication skills, otherwise happy with how they are treating my issues.
