Dr. Chandy is an amazing doctor. He will listen to you and never brush off your concerns. He helped me become diagnosed with SIBO and it’s been a process but i definitely have felt so much better since I started seeing him. His staff at the endoscopy center are also so kind and helped ease my anxieties about the procedure, I definitely recommend the office 🙂

I made an appointment 2 months ago for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. Less than 24 hours before the procedure, I'm notified that they didn't receive authorization from my insurance company and that I may need to reschedule the date. Poor communication and a wasted day prepping for a procedure that never happened. Go elsewhere, they are incompetent.

I have always had a pleasant experience with Brookhaven Gastro and have never had trouble getting an appointment, no long waits in office. I really enjoy my visits with Pam the PA. She took the time to get to know me, listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and even remembered everything about me after a 6 month period of not seeing her. If you want to truly be seen and heard as a patient I highly recommend her as your provider!

I've been a patient since brookhaven gastro opened. I started w dr berman until he retired and now w dr pilia. Dr pilia is outstanding as he listens to you and he is a perfectionist w scoping. The only drawback are the medical assistants. The office manager should fire all if them as they r on their cells texting and do not pay attention when u call. The office assistants are terrible. Lack of communication.

Dr. Chandy is truly such an amazing doctor and makes sure your concerns are being heard!!!! The receptionist are wonderful like Kierstan, Angela, Liz along with Medical Assis Jane an absolute doll who takes her time and is compassionate. I recommend Brookhaven Gastro 10/10 and will refer my relatives/friends here.

Dealing with Brookhaven Gastrointerology was one of the worst experiences of my life and I'm 77. I originally contacted them because Dr. Singh was recommended to me. In all my dealings over a 6 month period, I never saw or spoke to any doctor. I called in May for a colonoscopy. I was pushed out to a few months since it had to be done at Mather Hospital due to my breathing issues. All the while I had gastro issues that were worsening. Spoke to a nasty NP who told me I had bacteria after a stool test, when my doctor called to confirm she said she never said that. She lied. Then they cancelled the September colonoscopy two days before because my pulmo's approval had run out and they "didnt notice". So I found another doctor who did the colonoscopy in ONE week found a tumor and took it out the next week. I would not recommend Brookhaven Endoscopy, the staff is the worst. I can't say much about the doctors because I never met any of them.
