Dr. Hida is one of the best providers I’ve ever had. Being a very complicated GI patient, I haven’t had much luck with providers. Dr. Hida not only helped me be able to eat again, but showed true kindness and compassion in his treatment. Dr. Hida is the best!! He's treated me, my wife and my daughter with the utmost compassion. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He explains (in layman's terms) his diagnosis, reason for why it is happening and treatment. His bedside manor is impeccable and he spends as much time as possible to alleviate any concerns you may have. I never feel rushed. Dr. Hida is trained to do some very complex, delicate, amazing stuff called advanced endoscopy GI- if you find yourself needing the therapy & procedures he provides, you will find yourself before someone who has true empathy & real compassion. Dr. Hida understands that cooperation with the “physician within the patient” is essential, he clearly presented me with up-to-date, tested information and it was then up to me to take the guidance and start the healing within myself, if I had not done my part, I may not have healed. Dr. Hida came highly recommended when my husbands routine colonoscopy became not so routine. At the time he was practicing 70 miles away from our home in New York. Not only did he fix my husbands issue,he found a few things that were missed originally. He took the time to speak with me about his findings IN PERSON right after the procedure.
Since leaving practice in NY, Dr.Sven has always been a phone call or a text away, taking time out to look over Johns reports and explain any concerns we may hhave.Wish he was still practicing in NY.
