Dr. Muhammad Sheikh is an extremely competent and knowledgeable physician. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I never felt rushed at my doctors visit. His staff is professional and friendly. The wait time was nonexistent which was refreshing!

The staff is kind but my first visit I waited 1 1/2 hour to just be seen. Then the person taking notes put the wrong notes in (I saw it on MyChart after leaving).

Now I am back for the follow up and I’ve been waiting 45 min in the lobby and sitting now in the room for 20 more min as I type this.

Today was an in person appt and the front desk randomly scheduled it as a teleconference 24 hours ago in the reminder then when I called they didn’t know which it should be so to make it easy I came in. To which while sitting and waiting after signing in I watched them call me to teleconference.

I’m disappointed.

Dr. Sheikh is very knowledgeable and has a great deal of connections to find one the medical attention they need. His staff is kind and courteous. Dr. Sheikh takes time when he meets with you, so be prepared to wait.

The Receptionist had called an confirmed a phone appointment, after I waited and got no call. I called the next day. They said it was no a phone call and my insurance did not allowe that. I said it was not told to me To which the receptionists argued with me, I asked her if she rgues with all the patients. She got mad Said, do I want to reschedule or not. I said no and she hung up. I'm sorry, but if you're gonna be in a profession where you need to talk to. People being rude is gonna help no one I will make sure that I tell everyone that I come in contact with how disrespectful you're a reception office is. I want nothing to do with this office. Do not come here unless you want to be disrespected.

The Rookie

Was not happy with the Gastroenterologist that I saw last year, so I chose to be referred to this location instead. After weeks of waiting, I've now been told that this place as well as most Gastroenterologists in the Central Valley do not take new patients if you have been seen in the last 3 YEARS by another doctor. What ever happened to getting a second opinion? Not only is this extremely stupid, but it is entirely unethical and consumer unfriendly. This obvious collusion between gastroenterologist practices is the definition of a cartel and is no doubt illegal, but they know they have the power and that we won't do anything about it. Word of advice: pray to God your gastroenterologist is a "good" one because you'll be stuck with them for 3 years no matter what I guess.

Wouldn’t see me due to policy of a prior provider in last 3 years. Policies interfere with medical care and patient health to their detriment.

Dr Sheikh has the best bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. My husband was taken care of by Humar this last time. He spent a lot of time with my husband and made sure to answer every question and concern he had. Everyone on staff is so wonderful here!
