I am the Events Coordinator for the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County and have had the pleasure of working with Angela Blessing and her team on two big annual donor dinners (both outdoors with limited to no water or power). From start to finish, her quality of service is top-notch. We've worked together on choosing a menu suited for all diets, identified additional services that we needed from her staff leading up to and day-of event, talked through rental needs, and she was even flexible with our fluctuating headcount. The food was truly exceptional and Angela’s staff was warm, professional, and attentive. We used every add-on and we’re glad that we did! The tri-tip was a huge hit all our guests kept saying how amazing the food was overall. Angela was wonderful to work with. She was very dedicated to getting everything just right and offered many variations of the menu to accommodate our guests needs, incorporate our priorities and bring everything together for a wonderful selection. Angela catered my wedding 9/7 and people still wont stop talking about how good the food was. To be honest i had low expectations for wedding food since usually it is sub-par and extremely expensive (ive had pretty mediocre wedding food as a guest i think everyone can relate) i also understand its probably hard to cook for 150+ people so not trying to slam catering folks! Now after getting quotes for my own wedding I know how expensive everything is. She really corrected my opinion on wedding food and i think its some of the best ive ever had. It was fresh and well cooked, flavors were well done and delicious. The salad with fresh peaches was talked about for a long time after 9/7. The squash lasagna was also a hit and discussed many times among our guests. A guest who was vegan also was pulled aside and given a personal portabella steak - she mentioned it to my family after the wedding- how kind and thoughtful that was. Before the wedding Angela was so easy to work with and was more than willing to adjust our contract so it was within my budget. She also is incredibly kind and easy going, i never had any issues with contacting her or anything like that. Unlike other full service catering companies, she really accommodated my budget/needs and even took off some food cost when our guest count changed the 1-2 weeks before. I did not have this experience when i talked to other catering companies. My partner requested to use one of our own local fishermen to use his halibut and she accommodated that as well and knocked it out of the park. I cant say enough good things about her and her staff - who were all so amazing. They also were able to pull this whole thing off in an outdoor kitchen on a farm with very little cooking supplies. I cannot recommend her enough to cater your wedding or anything else. She also never asked me to write a review FYI so this is me just telling the world how good she is. THANK YOU ANGELA! <3

We had the pleasure of working with Angela Blessing Catering for our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with their services. From start to finish, she provided an exquisite catering experience that exceeded our expectations. During the wedding guests could not stop telling us how good the food was. It was the best wedding food we have ever had. Our venue told us before we hired her that they have worked with her before and how amazing her food is and how reliable and easy to work with her team is. Our venue was very happy we chose her and we are so glad we did too.

The team at Angela Blessing Catering ensured that every detail was taken care of, starting with the attentive service they provided. Throughout the seating time and grand entrance, they made sure our champagne glasses were filled, creating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. The staff also promptly refilled the wine glasses at each table, ensuring that our guests were well taken care of.

The buffet they prepared was nothing short of exceptional. With a variety of appetizers, two entrées, three sides, and specialty ingredients, our guests were treated to a culinary delight.

Angela Blessing Catering also offered optional add-on services and menu items, which we gladly took advantage of. Their signature craft beverage, the Organic Lavender Lemonade, was a refreshing and delightful choice that perfectly complemented the menu. The bartending service provided by their team ensured that our guests' drink needs were taken care of throughout the evening.

In terms of setup and service, Angela Blessing Catering was exceptional. They took care of the table set-up, dressing, and place setting, allowing us to focus on enjoying our special day. The breakdown of the dining area and repacking of rentals after the event was handled efficiently and professionally.

One of the highlights of the catering experience was the pre-ceremony stationary grazing platters. The Classic Hummus with Smoked Paprika, Olive Tapenade with Fresh Garden Vegetable Selection, and Pita Crisps were a delightful combination of flavors. The Strawberry-Basil Bruschetta with Balsamic Reduction and Pine Nuts added a touch of elegance to the selection. The Roasted Tiny Potatoes with Romesco Dipping Sauce were a crowd favorite, and the freshness of the ingredients shone through in every bite.

For the main course, the 2-entrée buffet style was a hit. The Lemon-Rosemary Grilled Chicken topped with Fresh Herbs was tender and bursting with flavor. The Slow-Roasted Tri-Tip with its delectable Signature Chimichurri Drizzle was an absolute delight that meat lovers couldn't resist. The Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Green Beans perfectly complemented the entrées, providing a well-rounded and satisfying meal.

Overall, Angela Blessing Catering made our wedding day truly exceptional with its outstanding food, attentive service, and attention to detail. We highly recommend them to anyone seeking an unforgettable catering experience. Angela catered our wedding at Roaring Camp Railroads July 2024 and we were blown away by the food! Her menu was super diverse and she was great to work with to create our menu. We had 140 guests and everyone was raving about the food. The meatballs are delicious and people were loving the wild rice basmati. We had chicken, tri tip, and salmon and all were cooked perfectly. My pet peeve is that the proteins, especially chicken, is dry at weddings and I was so happy that didn't happen at mine. They were also saying the curried carrots were delicious. Everyone was super impressed and that was one of my non-negotiables for the wedding - to have stellar food - and Angela delivered. Her staff was so nice and incredible and I would highly recommend for any event! Thank you Angela + team for making our wedding unforgettable!

Angela did the catering for our wedding. Our only complaint is being the bride and groom we were running around so much taking pictures and visiting, we didn’t have as much time to enjoy eating this incredible food! The tri-tip was the best I had ever had. From start to finish it was very easy working with Angela and it was nice that she could provide bartending services as well. I hope we can attend another event that Angela is catering soon!

Hire Angela!! Angela and her team made our event easy and delicious. We and our guests loved the food and the service. Angela handled an astonishing array of food preferences and allergies. Beautiful delightful food came out at just the right time, and her team whisked away empty plates and took care of guest accidents perfectly. Angela & team catered our wedding this last weekend. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. I had numerous people mention that this was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding. Not only is the food delicious, the presentation is absolutely gorgeous. Angela was incredibly easy to work with. We did our whole meal gluten free and she was so knowledgeable about different allergens, and made substitutions to her recipes to ensure our celiac guests were able to enjoy the full spread. Menu items I highly recommend: the tri-tip, roasted butternut squash, beet salad & arugula salad. I don't think you can go wrong with anything Angela makes, but those were just a few of my personal favorites that we chose! We could not have been happier with how the food at our wedding turned out! THANK YOU ANGELA!
