Wow what an amazing place. Popped in today and the atmosphere was awesome really happy friendly service, and the food was out of this world, it was probably the best pie I have had in NZ to date! Brisket pie was out of this world my daughter had the butter chicken pie it was fantastic as well. HEAPS of gluten free options. 5/5 recommend

Everything looks really good in the store, so it makes it hard to choose. I had the Lamb & kūmara and my boys had the Steak, bacon & cheese pies. Both were super chucky and had just the right amount of gravy with a nice flaky pastry.
I also had a boysenberry and custard filled donut, it was nice but I have had better.

This bakery is my go-to spot for feeding both kids and adults! The staff are amazing—super friendly and patient, even during busy times. Their pies are fantastic, made with real, hearty portions of meat (none of that artificial jelly filling), and the pastry is perfectly flaky and buttery. My trucker partner has tried pies from all over the country, and he agrees—nothing beats Bella Pane! I also love their filled buns and donuts, which are always a treat. This place is truly a gem in Putaruru! You won’t regret buying from here!

We’ve been travelling all over New Zealand, and after 4 months of sampling pies from across both islands we have come to the agreement that Bella Pane makes the best pies in the country.
The pastry, fillings and flavours are exceptional. The price is also very reasonable.

Legends, wonderful gluten free baked goodness for our family. Only downside is that they don’t live in Hamilton, I know they deliver but would be great to pop down the road and grab some baked goodness. Fantastic service also!
