Our recent visit to Blossom & Root Kitchen in Danville was a revelation! As a complete vegetarian restaurant, I was blown away by the creativity and excellence of their dishes.

The food was nothing short of amazing - each bite was a masterclass in flavor, texture, and presentation. The unique combinations and expert preparation made for a truly unforgettable dining experience.

This being our first visit, we were thoroughly impressed and cannot wait to return. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, or just looking for a fresh culinary perspective, Blossom & Root is an absolute must-visit.

Went here for the first time for Valentine’s Day dinner and my partner (whose not vegan) and I loved everything! Ambiance was great, food was incredible, and the service was lovely. Steven was our server and he was very friendly and attentive!! The place is also decorated super cute. Definitely will be coming back!

Blossom and Root Kitchen is a nice vegetarian restaurant overall. We tried the soup (3/5), the vegetarian burger, and the tofu bowl (both 4/5). The food was good, but we felt a bit heavy afterward from the mix of tofu, beans, and other ingredients.

The staff was really friendly, though a bit disorganized. I think it would help if they explained the vegetarian options more, especially for people who aren't used to them—it was tough for us to choose. I also think they could add some lighter options like veggie patties or fries, but that’s up to the chef, and we respect that.

It’s a cool concept, and we hope they stick around and keep promoting vegetarian food, even if we weren’t completely wowed this time.

Blossom & Root Kitchen is a restaurant that can be enjoyed by plant based and non plant based eaters alike! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was so unique and cheerful, and the staff were so welcoming & pleasant! The Brentwood Corn Chowder was amazing! So flavorful!! We had potato salad as a side with the crab cake sandwich, and it was also delicious! The crab cake sandwich was also good, but the chowder and our side were our favorites. It’s great to go out and be treated so well! Good customer service seems like a thing of the past, but not here! The staff seemed genuinely interested & proud of the food that is served here. We will be back!! So thankful to have a plant based restaurant that we can enjoy in our area!

Cute, clean bright space. Our waiter was especially kind and helpful. We loved the appetizer crab cakes and the vegetable pesto sandwich with vegan cheese was delicious. The B&R burger was equally flavorful though I personally favor a burger with a more "meaty" texture. The drinks were imaginative and fun. See photos of the Blue Mermaid drink.

Absolutely Fantastic! My first impression, perfect!
I love the atmosphere and decor. Very special vibe!
The food was as beautiful as it was delicious! We started with drinks,
Persimmon Beet Bellini & Pomegranate Cloud. The appetizers were the Bread Plate and the Fritters. The main was the Masa Cake.
Looking forward to bringing family and friends.

Everything is absolutely delicious and the menu options are so new and excitingly interesting. The atmosphere is warm and has a lively buzz, with charming outdoor eating. The cocktails are invigoratingly elegant and festive! As an omnivore, I loved everything I tasted, found myself more than satiated, and will definitely be back -- ideally at least once a week! Gourmet and intricate flavors....worth traveling from all around the Bay to come try it! The mac n cheese will be a crowd winner for even the most selective eater, but I especially loved the fritters (no cholesterol) with aioli and the light lemon dessert!

The Thanksgiving meal was awesome. Ordering was easy and communication was good. We ordered the green beans, stuffing, potatoes and gravy. It didn't look like a lot of food when we picked it up but there was plenty for 4 people. Flavors were amazing and the ease of just heating up was what we needed having 2 small kids. I hope B & R offer more holiday meals in the future.
