Castello Victorian Inn - Calistoga, California

The Castello Victorian is in a great location off the beaten path but central to everything in Calistoga and the surrounding area. It has a good layout if you have multiple couples wanting some separation being unique to us as a single story Victorian. This place added to us truly enjoying our getaway here.

Castello Victorian Inn was great for our group. We had 4 couples on our trip, each had their own bedroom and bathroom which was excellent. The common areas, living room, kitchen and outdoors, were ideal for us. We like to cook, we cooked dinners every night. The kitchen was well stocked, we were able to cook and it was nice that it had all the basics in terms of spices (which a lot of places don't have).

The house was clean, plenty of linens and toiletries. The outside space is very nice. The location was ideal for us, less than a 5 minute walk to the center of Calistoga and an easy drive to the wineries that we visited.

We visit Napa every 2-3 years and have stayed at several different places and the consensus for our group was that we would stay here again.

Our group of 7 friends (3 couples and 1 single) had a wonderful stay at Castello Victorian. We took full advantage of the space, using all 4 bedrooms, the well-equipped kitchen, large dining and living areas, and the pleasant outdoor areas. A few of our party had to do some work during our stay, and they found ample spaces to work from and reported the internet connection was excellent. There was plenty of off street parking for all 4 of our cars, and the location is an easy couple of block walk to downtown Calistoga restaurants. We were very happy with the accommodations and will definitely stay again if our travels bring the group back to the Napa Valley.

We stayed here for a wedding on Memorial Day weekend and everything went very smoothly! It is a rustic house with modern appliances (great fridge, microwave, toaster oven, wine fridge, smart lock entry on the door, fireplace with remote in the master bedroom). There were plenty of bedding, pillows and space for our guests and it even came with a complimentary bottle of wine from Castello di Amorosa! We felt like we were truly hosted by the Sattui family this weekend. We had planned a trip for our bridesmaid/groomsmen party at Castello di Amorosa and the bride/groom were getting married at V Sattui. It makes sense that the two places we chose to visit and our Airbnb had fantastic hospitality, it must be the Sattui family blessing. What I noticed is that the house stays cool which was great for the 90-95 degree weather we were having this Memorial Day weekend, but it was a bit chilly at night so we had the HVAC and fireplace on. Overall, would definitely stay here again. It's about 36 minutes from Oxbow Public Market around "downtown Napa" but only 17 minutes from V Sattui and many of the Napa wineries so great location depending on what your purpose in Napa is. Downtown Calistoga seemed great and hustling/bustling, would love to return for another trip here!

My family members met in Napa for a wedding at Auberge Solage. My two sons and their girlfriends, us, and another couple (4 couples) stayed at the Victorian. Each couple had their own bathroom! We cooked (mostly big breakfast) , watched football in the living room, played a board game and did 1000 piece puzzle on the large dining room table!!! It was a little chilly out, but we still managed to sit outside in the beautifully lit back patio and converse. We walked to the charming town and had dinner when we could! We could be all together or be independent even without a car! We ALL had an AMAZING time! WE WILL BE BACK!

We have been to Wine Country 4 times and this was by far our best experience, due in large part to the Castello Victorian Inn. We were 3 couples and everyone said the same thing. The property is immaculate and very well appointed and the grounds are spectacular. Irina Sattui was very gracious throughout the booking process. The location in Calistoga was also exceptional, as we could easily walk to the center of the town and enjoy restaurants and shopping, or just walking around. From now on whenever we visit wine country with a group we will always stay here!

We have visited Calistoga many times over the years and always stayed in a hotel, so this was our first time staying in a home, and it was certainly the correct decision. ||||With the Covid-19 closures in effect, having a home with a full kitchen to prepare meals and a spacious dining room in which to eat them was spectacular!||||The home is beautiful with many bedrooms, a large living room, big screen tv and cable, a well furnished kitchen and a great patio and back yard to relax.||||Dealing with Irina and Ivan was truly a pleasure. Ivan even stocked the fridge and met us at the property when we arrived.||||No more hotels for us, Castello Victorian! is our new home away from home!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Castello Victorian in Calistoga, CA. It is a lovely Victorian styled home with comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, a large dinning area, a relaxing living room with a large screen TV, and new washer and dryer. The home included a large basket of fruit, coffee, tea, milk, eggs, cheese, butter and ham in the refrigerator. We also had delicious croissants awaiting our arrival. ||||The amenities were first class in regard to the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The sheets and towels were plentiful, comfortable and of good quality. We had private parking within a few feet of the front door.||||Irina and Ivan were delightful to work with, and made our stay even more pleasant.||||We enjoyed our weekend at this beautiful home, and will stay there on our next trip to Calistoga, CA.
