Horrible experience with this office. I will never return. I prepared for my colonoscopy as instructed, including purchasing all the prep materials on my own, only to be told the day prior to my procedure (around 3pm) that my primary care doctor "hadn't sent the authorization" so my procedure would have to be cancelled. This was a blatant lie. My pc had not received the request until noon. My PC sent the authorization and all was fine. UNTIL, i received a call from Westchase AT 10PM, saying the generator at the facility was broken and my procedure would have to be cancelled. Honestly, I cant be convinced otherwise that my appointment was given away earlier and i was fed a lie just to cover their behinds. Now they refuse to answer my numerous calls and voicemails. What a sham of a place. I'm actually grateful they didnt do my procedure because if they are this careless with scheduling....

I had a wonderful experience at Westchase Gastro with Dr. Chang. I had checked in online, arrived for my appointment and was out the door in under and hour. I was super impressed with how thorough Dr. Chang in learning about my history and any concerns I had. The staff was kind and I am so glad I found Dr. Chang. I would recommend this office to anyone!

Great office. Karla at the front desk is super helpful! The first time I came here I called her the one-woman show because she sure was handling a busy lobby helping people get checked in.
It's a busy office. There will be a wait like any place else. What's important to me is that the doctors are compassionate and want to help. They sent me to a really great office to get my procedure done as well.
I definitely recommend it.

Always a pleasant experience. Front attendants always a pleasure. Can not say enough about PA Steven Rayno. Answers all questions and is quite knowledgeable. I’m very comfortable and confident seeing him.

I really don't understand why these guys aren't getting better reviews. I've been working with Dr Awad and his team for almost 3 years now and they are amazing. They listen to what I have to say and respond in a very professional yet friendly way. They go out of their way to help me every time I need them. They know what they are doing. There has been a couple times where the line was busy but I just tried again a few minutes later and got through just fine. Definitely a long term patient of theirs. Thank you for working so hard to give me my life back!

Honestly the worst medical experience I’ve ever had. I was hesitant with reading reviews and had no choice due to an urgent need for a colonoscopy. After the colonoscopy, I had a few questions for the doctor regarding how the issue may have started based on what the nurse at the office told me a few weeks prior. I was told “We’re moving on from this point forward”. I asked again based on previous findings if the new finding could’ve been related. I was told the same thing and that was the end of the conversation. I had a follow up scheduled for 2 weeks after. A week before, I received a letter stating Dr. Awad would no longer be treating me. On medication, haven’t heard my results or seen my biopsy findings, paid for the office visits, procedure, etc but now refusing to see me. I called and they said no doctor at the office can see me. Doctor stated I refused medication. I simply asked if the previous findings could’ve been a reason for the new finding. Also, I have another witness of how this interaction happened. This is honestly unacceptable and I don’t believe it’s legal to have a procedure without having the chance of asking questions or having the follow up appointment. So disappointed as I’m currently taking medication with no further explanations, end of story. Nothing I can do. Please consider this review before going forward unless you have no other options like I did.

The doctors are great and the receptionists are friendly, but be prepared to wait no matter what time your appointment is. Your appointment time means nothing, you’ll be waiting at least 30 minutes to an hour after your scheduled time before you get called back.
