I’ve never felt so insignificant in a healthcare setting before. I saw Rayann Jaber in October for persistent gastro issues, which she scheduled some procedures and test for, and prescribed me some medication. After not getting better and calling the office for guidance and assistance, I was told if I didn’t feel better to go to the Emergency Room - which I did. After finding no answers at the emergency room, I called to see if the Endoscopy/Colonoscopy Rayann had scheduled me for in early December could be moved up where I was not well and just left the ER. I was told “no” and that I would have to wait for my appt. I ended up finding a Surgical GI Doctor who would be able to do my endoscopy over a month earlier than my appt with GI Assoc. of Cape Coral so I could try to find what was wrong with me. I had the procedure done with no findings and soon called Rayann to ask for more guidance and what to do. She did not return my call, and I called twice more, leaving messages for her, all the while being sick with an unknown issue, before her nurse returned my call. I was told Rayann would no longer see me as I had the procedure done elsewhere. When I explained why I had the procedure done with another surgeon, I was told it was policy. While I shouldn’t be surprised after the true lack of care for me and lack of importance my sickness made to her and the office, I was shocked that they would tell a patient who is dealing with an unknown illness who is only trying to resolve that they are no longer going to be seen by their provider. Shock and anger are the only descriptions of how I felt. And maybe betrayal that healthcare providers not take their job helping others with any level of importance.

Helped me with my Crohn’s Disease diagnosis and have helped keep me happy and healthy. Very nice staff and easy to work with. I highly recommend this office especially if you have Crohn’s Disease
