I had exceptional medical care from Dr. Martinez and customer service from his staff. Dr. Martinez provided thorough, personalized, holistic medical care. I am relieved to find a GI doctor I can trust. The office was welcoming, had a great view, and made me feel relaxed.

This practice is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to treating patients. They will not let you change providers even when they are accepting new patients. I saw Dr Martinez once maybe twice over 6 years ago and I can’t see anyone else at the practice! My experience with Dr Martinez was piss poor and not allowing me to switch when you have one of the largest and most experience GI practices in San Antonio is dumbfounding! This is a ridiculous policy. So much for an oath to helping patients.

I have been trying to schedule an appointment for my mother and have left 8 voicemails and emails to a Miriam in the last 3 weeks and no luck. How is someone supposed to schedule an appointment if no one answers?!

The doctor and PA are great. Wonderful doctor and PA. But the staff and especially the scheduler Judy have the worst customer service skills ever. Every time I want to reschedule a colonoscopy, she makes me feel like I am doing something wrong. Then when you do schedule something talking to her gets you no where. She talks over you and sounds so disgruntled. Next, the communication there is horrible. Trying to get a hold of someone and getting a call back is impossible. Looking for another place.
