I like the food, and it’s a lovely family run business, but they don’t always have the best quality control. This for example was a to go order and they shouldn’t have sent it like this, it was simply burnt.

Lots of garlic on the garlic bagel! I loved that.

They didn’t slice the bagels in half, which could have been an accident. But the most unfortunate discovery, was the watered down cream cheese. It was all goo, and completely squished out of the bagel.

Five stars for House of Bagels! The owners are incredibly friendly, and the Bagels are downright tasty. A delightful experience that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend!

BEST BAGEL PLACE IN SANTA CRUZ. Bagels are fresher and larger than Bagelry. Portions are bigger and cheaper than the Bagelry. You get more stuff on your bagel without having to pay extra, which unfortunately is the case at the Bagelry. I always get a Lox sandwich with capers, onions, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber already included in the price which is $7. At the Bagelry when I order a Lox sandwich, I get a stale bagel twice smaller and I have to pay extra for capers and tomatoes- $13 total, which does not have any lettuce or cucumber in it. House of Bagels is the best bang for your buck and has the tastiest bagels around. (Pic is what I took to-go this morning)

Very little to no meat. And they usually close before the time they’re supposed to.
Maybe someone should open a new bagel shop in Scott’s valley to give them some competition. When your the only one in town u do what u want.

Locally known as HOB, popular with kids and locals. Tasty Bagels, Bagel sandwiches and other stuff. Typically have a rack of day old for a deal. Photo of my fav, Everything Bagel with Lox and Cream Cheese

Hidden gem.

Didn't know what to get around here for lunch. And wow was I lucky to come upon this place.

Upon walking in it felt very local. It was clean, inviting and the smell was making me want food!

The menu is awesome with so many fantastic options.
I personally got the lox bagel and cream cheese. It was fresh and tasted awesome.

I came here two days in a row while I was in the area. I'll definitely be back! Thank you to this awesome bagel spot!
