Absolutely loved this place. The flavors weren't what you'd expect, but it was definitely appreciated. We had the secret breakfast, and honestly, we were a mixed crowd. Some loved it, and others could live without it. It's all about preference on that one. The Taihitian Vanilla was phenomenal and I added fudge on top and it made it that much better.

I bought a hot chocolate for 5 dollars, but my cup barely had 2 centimeters of chocolate. Besides, it didn’t even taste like chocolate—it was just water with sugar. I told the cashier, and he said that was all they had.

The worker didn't let me have a sample but I saw other people having it. I ordered a triple ice cream in a cup but It was all smashed and almost melted. The flavors were all mixed together.

Humphry Slocombe is a Bay Area institution at this point and this one is in line with other locations. Personally, I find the flavors here to be hit or miss so it may take a while to find something you’ll like. The space is kinda weird but staff is usually super nice. I’m really glad theres finally an ice cream shop on Bay Street and it’s much needed for the area, but of all the SF chains to cross the bay, it’s too bad it had to be this one.

We tend to get salted caramel cacao nib, malted milk chocolate, Vietnamese coffee, secret breakfast, and lavender crumble and go back fairly often.

The ice cream left a lot to be desired. They didn’t have any waffle cones, which was a big bummer. I got a peanut butter chocolate swirl type ice cream w/barely any PB flavor. The bourbon ice cream was similar to a sweeter corn flake milk type ice cream, it was good. I was expecting creamy and velvety texture by the look of the ice cream, but that is not what I got. Pretty much a let down in the realm of ice cream. The view from outside the shop was pretty, and they have some nice seating arrangements outside of the store.

I’ve had ice cream before. It was today that is discovered that I’ve never had ice cream from here! Their DQ Sundae is the most amazing creation to compliment a day in Emeryville. The staff were professional yet down to Earth. The establishment was clean and there was plenty of seating. The wait time was minimal and it was pleasant to watch them create your order. I recommend this location to all!

Their freezer was definitely broken and the ice cream was melted. Insane they stayed open. Scoops were also smaller than the other locations.
