Donuts were so fresh and amazing! Apple Fritter was fire 🔥! Super reasonable pricing. Bummer we couldn’t eat inside at the counter as it was blocked off.

Great donuts. No question.
Sadly, they are now takeout only. We asked about a time frame for reopening the indoor seating, but they were unable to tell us anything.
We will watch and hope.

The absolute best doughnuts I’ve ever had. The raspberry filled are my favorite! I’ve not had anything from this bakery I didn’t like. Enjoy!!

Honestly, we stopped in this place because of the name. We love anything pirate related! They were pretty busy both in the drive-thru and inside. The service was great though! We had never been here and we were taking longer than we probably should, but there were so many options to choose from that we couldn't make up our minds. A line had already formed behind us, but the lady waiting on us was very patient with us and didn't make us feel rushed. Unfortunately, the counter area was closed so we couldn't eat inside. They had a little covered patio outside that we sat at, but it was a little chilly so we didn't stay long. The donuts were amazing! I loved that they weren't super sweet and sugary like most donuts. They had great flavor and tasted fresh. The custard filled ones had the perfect ratio of custard to donut. We ended up getting a dozen so we could try a variety (and because they came in a treasure chest looking box) I couldn't even pick a favorite, I loved them all! Coffee was delicious too! Wish we had a place like this back home! Will definitely stop in if we are ever in Ashland again!

This is the best donut place we have gotten donuts from in a while. Go early to get a full selection. Although all the ones we've tried so far are delicious. Since we come from Olive Hill and just found this place about 4 weeks ago, we have only been here twice. Have not been able to get a picture of the donuts yet because they get eaten before pictures are taken. My only criticism would be the donut box. Although it is cute, the donuts start turning stale by the next day.

First time ever trying these donuts and they were pretty good. We got a variety and u get a bakers dozen (13). I like the little chest box they come in, very cute lol. Will visit again when in the area.
