Touch of Kindness at La La Land Kind Cafe

When my friends visited from the Bay Area, I took them to La La Land Kind Cafe for coffee. Since I’m still finding my way around LA, this spot was the perfect place to share a warm, welcoming experience.

The cafe’s positive atmosphere is noticeable as soon as you walk in. The uplifting decor and friendly staff make it feel special, and my friends were just as impressed as I was!

We tried the Original Cloud Lattes and the Upside Down Latte—each was unique and delicious. The Cloud Latte was smooth and creamy, with a light, airy texture that felt like a treat. The Upside Down Latte had a bold, rich flavor that coffee lovers would appreciate. Each drink was crafted with care, adding to the whole experience.

But what really made the visit memorable was the kindness of the staff. They went out of their way to make sure everyone felt comfortable and welcome—a rare touch that left a lasting impression on all of us.

La La Land Kind Cafe isn’t just about coffee; it’s a whole experience. If you’re in LA and looking for a spot with quality drinks and genuine kindness, I highly recommend stopping by. It’s the perfect place to share with friends and feel at home in a new city.

I ordered 4 drinks which unfortunately got messed up during transit, when I called La La Land Kind Cafe, told them what happened and they absolutely took care of it and we are all so thankful for there Kindness and Understanding. Thank You Again !!

Actually, everything about them is beautiful, the decoration services are very good, but Actually, this store is not for those whose mornings cannot go without double shot cappuccino coffee.(I think coffee beans are best for 2x cappuccino)

Great place to get your favourite coffee hit. The menu contains plenty of choice of hot and cold drinks paired with Avo toast or sweet pastries to enjoy on outside patio overlooking the ever popular fountain. Our newly founded favourite cafe in the heart of Calabasas!
Bring your four-legged family member with you. There are plenty of tables outside to enjoy the warmth of California with your pet.

The seats were so filthy that you can’t even sit on them. The menu doesn’t describe the drinks well at all. I usually drink latte, and I went for their perfect latte assuming that would be the closest thing. The description said secret sauce and bell milk which I have never heard of. I get the drink and I realize it’s sweet. Iced latte is usually unsweetened, but they serve it sweet. All the other mixed lattes they have that contain lavender taste like melted lavender bar soap in your drink at least to my taste. This was our third time trying and I think we’re done.
Just overrated and fancy looking not recommended for real coffee experience.

Chloe is such a great barista/cashier. She absolutely made my day today when I ordered 🙂

This place is too cute. The coffee delicious, the staff lovely, the decor instagram worthy.
Love how friendly everyone is. I’ve been twice now and the first time I went it was empty and the barista took her time explaining to me what to try as it was my first time. The wait time wasn’t long. The second time I went they messed up my order, but it was so busy.
They gave me my drink without the cloud. They also forgot to make one of my drinks, but after we told them they fixed everything and were super apologetic and helpful.

Pro tip : if you order a pastry ask for a bag and they give you the cutest reusable bag.

This coffee shop is slowly becoming a staple in my weekly routine.

My favorite drinks so far are the upside down latte with the cloud and the cookies and dream.

Ample choice of beverages and bakery items. The atmosphere really seems joyful and the staff aims to meet the mission statement of creating a happy space. Lovely place to hang out and be social.

I had a very disappointing experience at La La Land when picking up my order. A young lady was at the counter, and I showed her my confirmed order on my phone. She told me that one item was still being prepared and that I needed to wait. Then, she went to the back, seemingly to take a break, instead of actually checking on my order.

I waited for about 10 minutes, expecting the rest of the staff to complete my order, but nothing happened. Finally, I asked another employee about my order, and she told me that it had been ready for the past 15 minutes! The first girl lied to me just so she could take a break instead of packing my order.

Because of this, I arrived late to work and had to drive faster than usual in the rain, increasing my risk of an accident. This level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location, and I hope management takes action to improve their staff’s attitude toward customers.
