It was my first time visiting, and I had a wonderful experience! The bakery is charming, with a cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for spending time with friends. We ordered a variety of items, including dessert, coffee, hot chocolate, a veggie quiche, and a breakfast plate. The food was delicious, and the quality exceeded expectations. Everything was prepared quickly, which was a nice surprise. The outdoor dining area is an added bonus, allowing for a relaxed and pleasant experience, especially on a nice day. Overall, it’s a great spot to enjoy good food, great company, and a welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been living in Danville for 3 years and only found this hidden gem last week.
After my trip to France last year I was sad coming back to the U.S. since I missed French pastries. What an unexpected happiness it was when I found this spot! It’s exactly as delicious as in France, the staff are beyond nice and the ambience is lovely.

I came to try a few pastries and what they had available on my list were the Chocolate Almond Croissant and a Canele. Both were good and not too sweet! I would like to return and try other pastries and breads. Recommend! They do speak French here!

The food here is fantastic, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Same goes for the coffee menu. The staff are friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to.

I’ve only been twice so far but my favorites have been the amazing challah bread (Fridays only), croissants, baguettes, and the banoffee pastry (sooo amazingly delicious). Every time I go back I try something new and I am thrilled every time!

Maison Benoit is a great French pastry spot with amazing pastries, breakfast croissants, sandwiches, and baked goods. We went with the breakfast, and it was fresh and delicious.

The ordering process is a bit chaotic, so takeout is probably your best bet.

Can’t go wrong with their bread. Pain sussie is my favorite. Do not miss their gained baguette and canele. Latte is very consistent. I found the cakes and desserts can be opt out. The wait can be very long during special occasions, like Mother’s Day. Good thing is you can order online in advance.

We had an amazing experience at Maison Benoit in Danville! Stepping inside felt like being transported to a charming European café, with the rich aroma of French butter filling the air. The croissants were perfectly flaky on the outside and filled with layers of buttery deliciousness on the inside. We also picked up some freshly baked baguettes—crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. After searching for the perfect bakery in the Bay Area, we're thrilled to say we’ve found it! We can’t wait to return and try their Canela mini cakes next time!
