We were on our way back north from Nephi and had heard the raving reviews about Mosida. While many things were great, I think they could have something super special here with just a few minor tweaks. Let’s talk about it!

We love ourselves a burger and fries, and to hear there’s a local market that specializes in their own butchery, grinds its own beef, and fries its fries in tallow... what an amazing combination! We arrived around 5 p.m. on a Saturday, and it was busy—not overwhelming, but definitely a good crowd in the dining area. We checked out the menu and made our way to the tablet ordering station (not my favorite, but hey, it works). After placing our order, we hung out inside and browsed the shop, checking out the various cuts in the coolers.

Our food was brought out by a super nice kid (don’t worry, he was in his 20s—I just call everyone younger than me “kid”), and since the weather was perfect, we decided to eat outside. We sat down and dove into our meal. Overall, the food was hot and made with super fresh ingredients. The smash burger was good overall, though I thought it lacked a little seasoning. The brioche bun was dry and fell apart, which was a bit of a bummer. The fries had great seasoning on them and came in a generous portion.

I’m a sucker for a corn dog, so I ordered one on the side. Unfortunately, the center was cold and inedible, which was disappointing—I was hoping for something magical, especially since it was fried in tallow.

That said, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try. The fresh flavors and unique atmosphere are worth checking out. Enjoy!

I wanted to love Mosida Market, but for me, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. The burger alone was $12, which felt steep—especially since many specialty burgers elsewhere are $10 or under. The burger itself was fine, but nothing that stood out. I also tried the beef tallow fries because so many people raved about them, but honestly, they were pretty underwhelming and almost tasteless. The dipping sauce they came with was the highlight—flavorful and well-made.

On the bright side, the establishment is small but charming and very clean. Walking through to the butcher area was a fun touch, and I thought it was neat that they offered frozen meat “leftovers” for dogs. Overall, it was an okay experience, but probably not one I’d go out of my way to repeat.

Farmhouse Kitchen inside of Miss Market is amazing! 🔥🍔 They just opened up last month and are already shaking things up when it comes to quality meat and tasty burgers in Provo! Definitely worth the stop by!
They're right next to JJ's and Tommy's Burger, just off center Street on 400 W. Their meat selection is amazing and locally sourced and I don't think these photos do justice on how good their fresh burgers and tallow fries are. Already planning my next visit!
I also had their milk, which was amazing, and the meat they sell is super well priced and they have a broad range of options, which was really cool to see.

Such a fun market that you can also order lunch at. They have great burgers and some of the best fries! It was my first time have tallow fries and they were fantastic! I love how they also have fry sauce.

First time visiting and dining here and I was not disappointed. It’s a one stop shop, fresh dairy and meat, Farm Kitchen to dine on some delicious menu items and you can even pick up gifts or beautiful flowers.
The staff is so friendly and helpful.
I had the breakfast hash and it was delicious ! Their “secret” dipping sauce and spread is so yummy!
I can’t wait to go back and try their fresh beef hamburgers and tallow fries.
This new establishment is a Provo gem.

Hidden Gem! Great meat to buy for cooking at home, but great restaurant to eat on site. The milkshake was the best ever. sweet potato fries were divine! We also ordered and enjoyed The Hoss, loaded fries, the burger, the breakfast sandwich, and the breakfast scramble. Everyone in our family enjoyed it all! We will be back for sure!!

Visited the other day and was blown away by the quality of the food! The tallow fried fries were very light, and fluffy with a slightly crisp exterior and seasoned beautifully! I saved just a little bit for my parents and they loved them as well. The burger had a wonderful flavor to it that you can't find in traditional fast food, you're definitely enjoying a product of quality here!

Aside from the Farmhouse Kitchen, the interior is clean, the staff are extremely friendly (one of the line workers gave me an ice cream sample while I was waiting which I found hilarious), and the market side has a wide selection of meats, ice cream, and other local creations including some flavored milk from The Creamery which surprised me.

Both my parents and I will definitely be returning here in the future, so happy to have such a quality local shop we can support! 🫶

The tallow fries are so good! The food was fresh and served fast. The flavor of the beef is excellent, clearly raised and harvested locally! I’ll be picking up steaks here next time I grill!
