Their chocolate chai is phenomenal! With just the right amount of chocolate so as not to overpower the chai, and it's so creamy! Their seating is limited, but cute. They sell a variety of chocolate and a small selection of drinks.

We visited during the McMinnville UFO Festival. This shop participated and had some cool Grey Alien and flying saucer shaped chocolates.

The store was easy to find and has the name painted right on the front windows. The store is clean and organized. The staff is helpful and friendly.

You can tell the owner knows his craft and has a ton of passion for it. A lot of locally sourced ingredients mixed with gourmet chocolate from around the world. I reccomend the caramels and the chocolate chai milkshake.

A FANTASTIC chocolate shop in historical and touristic McMinnville! They have a wide variety of handmade, house made, quality chocolate products, as well as a small variety of artisanal sodas and ice creams. I got the chai chocolate for myself and it was YUM! They were very nice to make my daughter’s hot chocolate less hot, and even cooled it off more by adding milk. Vadnay Chocolate Co. also makes in-house seasonal selections such as for Christmas and Easter. Seating is comfortable. Large windows add soothing natural light. The bathroom is clean. They might be soon adding outdoor seating. Check out the misfit bin for discounts. And ask about birthday parties!

UPDATE: Their new location in downtown McMinnville is every bit as quaint and more scenic. The parking is much better on and near 3rd St than it was on Baker St. There are more stores nearby, so anytime you’re in downtown McMinnville for anything, be sure to stop by Vadnay Chocolate for their awesome hot chocolate or other wide selection of their own chocolates and chocolates from other brands.

Vadnay Chocolate Company is a great addition to McMinnville! They did a complete remodel inside and it is such a cute place to hang out for a bit. The owner served me when I went in, and he was friendly and gave great service.

All of the chocolate things they offer are made in house from the cacao bean. The flourless brownies are by far my favorite thing that I've tried so far. Their ice cream sundae was pretty good too, thanks to their chocolate syrup. I appreciate that they also had other foods on their menu, like hot dogs and soft Bavarian pretzels. Always a good idea to give kids some sustenance before treats! Whatever you do, be sure to take home a bag of their fresh chocolate that they keep refrigerated right by their case.

Pro-tip: if there are no available spots out front, there are a couple behind the shop.

Chocolate Chai is amazing, like an iced hot chocolate but so much better. My wife and I were fighting over who got the last drink.
Check out the Cinderella chocolate, ask if you don't see any out, there may be some in the fridge. We managed to save a couple small pieces to see what happens when the time runs out, but it's so good we ate the rest.
Stop in and check out this local business, you will not find anything like it in the area, and you won't be disappointed.

We had a really sweet time at the Vadnay Chocolate Cafe, literally! We tried some chocolate, the brownie, hot chocolate, and chai chocolate and all were amazing! The owner is really knowledgeable, and told us a lot about the chocolate making process: from where the cocoa beans coming from to what makes the chocolate so creamy silky.
We will definitely be back when we pass by McMinnville! Thank you!
