It was so good the first time, we went back two weeks later! My wife had the French toast with a fruit compote that was amazing! She let me have only one small bite! I had the big breakfast with two eggs, 4slices of bacon (traded the sausage), and hash browns. Good old fashioned American food, exceptionally well prepared. There’s a secret ingredient in the pancakes I think—vanilla maybe or almond extract—something that makes them a little fluffier and a tad sweeter than regular pancakes at Denny’s or IHOP.

This is my favorite place for breakfast and a little somethin’ from the bakery for later.

They have the best pastries and lates! I looooove their cinnamon dulce latte ( way better than Starbucks)

Been here twice now. Forst time was good service. Second time was really busy and they messed up my order by accident. I still ate what they gave me but I came in later (I planned to come in later to order something to reheat for dinner) And mentioned the mix up and how I paid for extra avocado and got the wrong order and never got the right coffee drink either. The manager was super nice about it. Although I did pay for my new order that they originally got incorrect she did offer me a new coffee and added the avocado at no charge. A good compromise I'd say. They also were pretty busy too and accidents happen.

If I brought the dish back in when I first got the wrong order I'm sure she would have not charged me for the meal as well. My experience has been good. I wish they switched up the baked goods maybe like every week and have a new pastry that's only for the week or something so returning customers can always try something new.

I had the ham and Brie panini (picture posted) and it was good, not amazing, but satisfactory. I didn’t post a picture of the fries but they were underwhelming. The texture and taste was more like potato chips rather your classic French fry. The pastries were pretty amazing. The blueberry cream cheese turnover was impressive. It was nice and flaky and had the perfect combination of butteriness , tanginess, and sweetness to it. Neither flavor out did each other which was very delicious.

Service is ok. I ended up sitting at a dirty table since it was the only table that was open (picture posted) , and it stayed that way till the end of my visit. It was very busy, i visited on a Sunday, and It seemed like there was only one busser working the floor. Although he was very busy, he was kind and helpful. There was a mix up with my order and he very quickly fixed it. I didn’t catch his name but he was a younger gentleman with short black hair and a mustache. The ladies at the front were pleasant as well.

Overall I would go back again but I do prefer the San Luis Rey Bakery over this place. The desserts and menu options are a lot better.

O'Side Bakery was amazing. The employees were so nice and efficient. The line was pretty long, but we didn't wait a ridiculous amount of time. After we ordered we were able to easily find a seat and sit down. The food didn't take Ling at all either.
I also noticed that once people left the workers didn't let a table be uncleaned for linger than 1 minute. Pretty good.
4/5 stars due to hashbrowns being a bit undercooked and the omelet was a little bland. Nothing that some salt couldn't take care of.
I'd give a 4.5 if I could... not everyone gets a 5 from me. Good job.

Oh yhea... please throw away all of the Tabasco sauce. All of them have gone bad.
