What a gem in Mt. Holly! The hostess is a sweetheart, and is very fun to chat with. What a warm and welcoming environment! A solid variety of coffee options, and some tasty food to boot! Their “make your own breakfast” bowl was delish; I enjoyed the hash browns, eggs, cheese, spinach, & avocado. They have these little cutie blueberry muffins, too, which are a sweet treat. The cinnamon pinwheel hit the spot, and I’m stoked to share this baklava with my fam. It’s my brother’s family’s fave spot to eat breakfast sammies! The pastry selection is unique; they even have beignets & macrons. The pink and green decor w/ the plants is cute. Overall, such a delight to enjoy & begin my day with! Come check it out, y’all, they’re a great locally owned and operated restaurant!
Mt. Holly should do them more justice with advertising by the road; since the shopping area in which they’re located is pushed back a ways, it’s harder to see their storefront, which does them a disservice because they’re so great.

They have a special going on where you can get a smash burger or wings with a side of fries for $10.99. I went ahead and tried their smash burger with fries and was NOT disappointed . From the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere to the very attentive employees constantly checking to see if i needed anything and communicating to me while waiting for my order .. it was just an incredible experience . I would recommend Passions cafe & pastry to anyone looking for a welcoming coffee shop , pastry shop , or for breakfast and lunch options .

Shoutout to the cashier and chef 🔥! You guys didn’t disappoint . I will be back ☺️. Thank you for an amazing experience .

This was my first time in, and I'll definitely go back. The vanilla latte was delicious but could have been hotter. The young lady that made my latte was very sweet. However, the customer service was lacking a bit. I would love to have known more about the business and their offerings, but there wasn't much interaction with the employees. The French toast muffin is incredible! It's not too sweet and tasted just like French toast. I would appreciate napkins being out for customers and maybe not use so much bleach when cleaning the floors. I wanted to dine in, but the smell was too strong. I think this place could definitely be a staple in the community.

Fantastic little gem. We ordered the easy like Sunday morning latte, mini cookie butter muffin, and bacon, egg and cheese on everything bagel… Delicious! This will be my new go to when I am craving a weekend brunch spot.

Perfect Spot for Coffee and Conversation

I recently visited this cafe, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right blend of modern decor and cozy charm. The cleanliness was impeccable, every corner of the space was spotless, which added to the overall comfort of the experience.

The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. They made me feel welcome and were happy to answer my questions about the menu. The coffee was outstanding—rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed and paired beautifully with the freshly made pastries and light bites. I also had the Philly and chicken cheese sandwiches and they were delicious with perfect serving sizes. Can’t beat the pricing!

It’s clear this cafe values its customers and takes pride in its service. Whether you’re looking for a place to relax, work, or catch up with friends, this is the perfect spot. I’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommended.

After waiting in the never ending DMV line, it was such a relief to find a spot where I could grab both breakfast and lunch without missing my place. I started with the Shrimp and Grits creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Later, I ordered a Grilled Cheese with fries, and it hit the spot perfectly.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The soft instrumental music playing in the background added a calm, relaxing vibe, and the space itself felt so comfortable. Great food, peaceful ambiance, and convenience all in one definitely made my DMV trip more bearable!

I was eager to support this small business, but I was left unimpressed. The small space is well decorated/ looks trendy and clean. My personal customer service experience was very friendly once the cashier got off of her phone to look at us. The coffee left much to be desired however and tasted mostly like cheap syrup and watered down coffee. It tasted like a hot latte that was made iced simply by pouring it over not enough ice, resulting in the melting. The price was pretty steep to have a drink with nothing special & the place needs better ventilation as the grease is very thick in the air. All of my clothes and hair smelled like grease / kitchen smoke after spending 10 minutes here which has never happened to me at a coffee / breakfast joint. I cannot speak on the pastries as I did not try them, but I will say they are very visually beautiful.

First time stopping by Passion's was an amazing experience! My wife and I got some lattes, breakfast bagels, and the cinnamon toast muffin. Everything was delicious! Excited to try more items off the menu! Cute little spot and the staff were very nice and a great experience! We will definitely be back!
