My husband and I were incredibly impressed with our wedding cake. Neither of us enjoy cake, and actually found it difficult to decide which flavors and fillings to choose.
The buttercream we chose is a little different from other types of buttercream; it’s whipped and stabilized, and less sweet than traditional buttercream frostings. The result was a perfectly delicate sweetness that wasn’t overpowering. The piping technique was gorgeous and uniform, and was exactly what we were envisioning for our cake.
The cake itself was moist, but not overly dense, or overly spongy. The ratio of frosting, filling and cake was fantastic.
Customer service was extremely professional, and patient with us. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cake for a special occasion. My only qualm is the price point would typically be outside of my range, although if you’re looking for high quality desserts, and have the funds, Pretty Sweet is the way to go.

Love the name of this shop! We got a few Macaroons, pretty tasty and the texture was on point! We also got the pumpkin cheesecake, which was good, but the cheesecake was pretty moist. The crème brûlée was fair, however the top was a bit over torched. In all, I would try other deserts here!

Absolutely terrible customer service and ever worse cake. Better off buying a $25 cake from Safeway. It was cute but all of my guests took one bite and trashed the rest. $150 for a cute pic isn't worth it. The owner is also incredibly rude and never apologized, and continues to blame me for not being able to bring the cake all the way back to Folsom.

I ordered this cake for my best friend’s birthday and it turned out amazing. It’s exactly what I pictured and tasted even better than it looked. The ordering process was super easy and everyone I talked to was helpful. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

I ordered a custom-designed cake for my kids' birthday party from pretty sweet, and it was a complete letdown. The design didn't match what I requested, with their names barely visible, characters photos are small and the ages written in tiny, white letters. Moreover, the cake was dry and lacked the flavor I expected. Not only was the cake dry and crumbly, but it started falling apart as soon as we began cutting it. The experience left me questioning whether this cake was worth the nearly $400 price. The quality simply didn't match the cost. I wouldn't recommend this cake to anyone looking for a memorable and delicious centerpiece for their celebration. I definitely won't be recommending this bakery to anyone. The experience was a disappointment from start to finish. They ruined my kids’ birthday party! I did contact them, their response was awful! I have attached photos for the cake. It is the worst cake i have ever had for my kids’ birthday party:(

We did our wedding cake and cupcakes with Pretty Sweet and they were absolutely delicious. Their chocolate and funfetti are to die for! Their response/service was also fantastic and were super great to work with. We cannot recommend them enough!

Had ordered a smash cake for my 2 year old birthday and Pretty Sweet did an amazing job!! Got so many compliments and my son loved the flavor of the cake too. I would highly recommend them and will be using them for future cake orders!
