Our group of 11 motorcyclists arrived at Red Ocotillo after a three-hour ride, looking forward to a relaxing meal—and we were not disappointed! The restaurant provided a peaceful ambiance, which was exactly what we needed after our journey.
The food was delicious, with a variety of flavorful dishes that satisfied everyone in our group. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home, adding to the overall positive experience.
The combination of great service, tasty food, and a serene environment makes Red Ocotillo a spot we’d highly recommend to anyone passing through Borrego Springs. A wonderful place to take a break and enjoy good company!

Had lunch on their pet friendly outdoor patio and breakfast inside, minus the pup. Both visits were outstanding. Attentive service, plentiful portions of delicious food and gorgeous views. Right off the town’s main roundabout with plenty of free parking. Don’t hesitate!

This is a lovely restaurant near the big roundabout in Borrego Springs. Food was well prepared, menu is eclectic but not overly complex. Very nice outside seating areas with lovely garden atmosphere.

Our server Gloria was super. She was very welcoming, professional and attentive. Chef Ignacio makes a great burger - best burger I have had I a very long time. Fries were done to perfection with a crispy surface and not oily. The Asian Quinoa salad was generous and was easy to modify for Gluten Free diet.

There is an inside bar.

This is, by far, my favorite spot to get dinner in Borrego. The food is amazing and the outdoor dining experience is just perfect! I highly recommend the burger and the short ribs! Probably one of the best short ribs plate that I’ve ever had! This place also has the best caesar salad that I’ve ever had, they definitely make the dressing in house, it does not taste like store bought!

Restaurant is off Christmas Circle in cute building and large patio. Cabbage rolls were fantastic.

I have eaten and drank dozens of times at this restaurant and love how mellow it is. The variety of food and drinks is great. The service is good but not great. I recommend this restaurant to friends because it is quick and easy. The indoor and outdoor dining are both perfect depending on the time of the year.

Yes! Yes! Yes!!! I'll have what he's having! Really nice restaurant in a great desert town. About 30 miles from Coachella/Salton Sea.
Borrego Springs is surrounded by desert. In the distance is a gorgeous mountain range. For RV and ATV enthusiasts there are endless acres of BLM land where people camp for free and putt putt their little hearts out.
But right in the middle of everything is this gorgeous restaurant. They have indoor seating and shaded outdoor seating. The menu is American, Mexican and breakfast. The sandwich/burger menu is extensive. They have adult beverages too.
I, being the newly health conscious boy that I am, had the taco salad with grilled chicken. My partner had the Reuben sandwich with coleslaw. Great food. Big portions. Quality ingredients. Neither of us left a crumb on the plate.
At the suggestion of our server I ordered the cherry cobbler dessert (Health kick out the window! LOL).
It was served hot and ala mode. So tasty!
One must be patient with the kitchen. It looks to be small. Food orders may take a little longer than expected. But the ambiance is nice and the house music is great. Relax. Chat. Be patient. Good food is always worth the wait.

Came for lunch after a hike. Sat out on the huge covered patio and enjoyed the views of the flowers and mountains. Food took a bit to be served, but not horrible. Had fish tacos (a little bland and the fish is breaded) and a Reuben sandwich (awesome with huge chunks of corned beef). Prices were not outrageous. Staff very nice.
