We used Spoonfed for our wedding catering and they manned our bar at Maven Monroe. They were absolutely wonderful. The team was extremely professional- the bartender, in particular, was a big hit with our guests just for being so sweet and fun!

Finding catering for a smaller wedding (40 guests) was a headache- the minimums we were expected to meet or requirements we had to follow were outrageous if we could get any response at all. Spoonfed, however, answered me back quickly and listened to our needs and worked with us to get there. Susan was honest with expectations and never tried to up-sell.

After an excellent tasting at their location in Lumina Commons, we built a wonderful southern coastal menu within a reasonable budget for 40 people. The shrimp and grits and biscuits were insanely good. They worked with us as vegetarians to make recipe accommodations and they also went above and beyond to help us get the most bang for our buck with our bar. They offered several options, including just the bartender and garnish which is what we chose (so we supplied all of the alcohol ourselves).

Susan remained consistent throughout the whole process, answering emails promptly and providing information in detail for me to plan appropriately.

The food was superb on the day and the display was way above my expectations. It looked beautiful and our buffet dinner went over without a hitch with everyone raving about the food.

Susan and her team at Spoonfed were always very warm and kind to me and my wife which was particularly important as an LGBT couple. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Came down to Wilmington for spring break and the highlight of my week was all the times we ate at Spoonfed! They pride themselves on fresh food and I can support. Some of my favorites were the burger, the Parmesan chips, and their homemade chia pudding and granola. The service was great and the staff was very kind and efficient.

Best restaurant in Wilmington. The chicken Bahn Mi is incredible. Veggie sandwich is so fresh and tasty. The broccoli slaw will make you want to eat healthy. And the chips! The chips are addicting and sprinkled with cheese. 10/10. My absolute GO-TO spot

Came here while on vacation with friends. We tried it our first morning and enjoyed everything. Loved the cold brew ice cubes in our iced coffee beverages. We specifically came back for the pancakes, which were very tasty!

The Spoonfed team catered my wedding, and it was one of the best decisions I made during the planning process! I had several guests with allergies and Susan was a joy to work with to make sure there were accommodations for everyone. Not only that, but the gluten free and vegan options were JUST as delicious as the other options. Hands down, it was the best wedding dinner I’ve ever had, and we received countless compliments the next day from guests who felt the same. The staff was incredible—not only were they professional and attentive, but they also brought so much joy to our day. The morning of the wedding, our wedding party had breakfast at the restaurant, and the staff made us feel so welcomed and celebrated. I’m so grateful we can continue enjoying Spoonfed’s amazing food at their restaurant!

Fantastic menu - we got the BLT, burger (so perfectly cooked!), and berry summer salad. Cole slaw w broccoli, apples, and cabbage was fabulous too. Everything was fresh and delicious. Wish I had seen the counter of salads before I had ordered - would have gotten several of those as well! Very friendly staff too.

Very cool little spot. Lots of neat, unique gifts and food items there for purchase. Would be a great place to put together a hostess gift basket or housewarming gift. I was there around noon and they were pretty busy but no major wait. I got the burger cooked medium. It was a perfect medium. Absolutely perfect. The burger was delicious. The amount of toppings was well measured, not too much but not scarce either. The burger comes with a bag of kettle chips and some kind of coleslaw. The slaw was great, lots of different ingredients that went well together. I definitely enjoyed my lunch from here. Their pastry case also looked amazing.
