This is what we experienced recently at The Mall in Borrego Springs. If you're driving through or otherwise, it's always a good idea to stop by and walk through The Mall.

The Outfitters store has a lot to offer. Some may say it's pricey, and some would say they are right, but the quality of what they offer is top notch.

The borrego springs Mall is a neat little shopping place. There are a few unique stores with lots of antiques and also clothing and other items that you can buy. Quite a nice little area for the small town.

This is a very nice place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can get a haircut, hiking gear, candles, clothing and desert art. Good parking, a clean grocery store, and laundromat. Lots of places outdoors to sit in shade. So come and browse to your hearts content and bring home a treasure from Borrego Spings.

This is a great place to go. Frederick's has two locations one here in the mall in the other down on Christmas circle. Both are fun even if you don't want to buy anything.

It's not just a small strip mall. Dozens of stores, a few restaurant/food places, the best grocery-market in town, laundromat, bank, etc. Has one of most types of stores. Great for small town of 3,500 people. Everything we need centralized in a 1-2 sq/mi area.

My one minor complaint about mall is many stores close at 4:30pm, everything else at 7pm. It's due to nearby observatory & Dark Skies Program.

There is minimal lighting throughout entire town at night. I think having a good quality pocket-size flashlight handy after dusk is a must.
