Amazing experience, a wonderful restaurant with great cocktails and top-notch seafood. I had the whole sea bass, it was so full of flavor and perfect textures. We also had the risotto, Brussels, octopus, asparagus, and a lava cake for desert. We tried several cocktails, each a unique experience. Great staff, knowledgeable and patient.

We went there for the first time yesterday as a couple. The food was amazing .The atmosphere was great and the service outstanding.
We will definitely go back and take our friends there. Highly recommended.

Tides Restaurant here in Danville offers a cozy ambiance with an abundance of lush greenery that creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. The beautifully designed reception desk adds an extra touch of elegance to the space. The service is exceptional—attentive staff go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction, which enhances the overall experience.

However, while the presentation and atmosphere are top-notch, the food quality fell slightly short of expectations given the pricing. Boneless ribeye for $59 was out of stock, the one with the bone you have to pay additional $15 for a side mashed potato. Really?! The mahi-mahi fish of the day, while juicy inside, was heavily over-spiced, which overpowered its natural flavors.

Overall, Tides is a charming spot with excellent service, but a slight refinement in their dishes would make it truly worth the premium price.

Wow wow! This place was amazing . Incredibly friendly staff, and even better food. The drinks were around 8.5/10 but the food was all 10/10. Best salmon I ever had and the truffle risotto was to die for. Definitely on the pricey side but you get your moneys worth for sure.

A must try! The scallop risotto is absolutely amazing! The salmon was delicious. Drinks are special. The punch bowl is the way to go. Soooooo good! Our waitress, Kayla, was attentive and knowledgeable. She made excellent suggestions. She made our experience that much better. The manager, Melissa, took the time to come chat with us and make sure all was well. The pastry chef knows what she's doing. Best carrot cake I've ever had. Super friendly staff, great ambiance. We might be back every weekend.

Our experience went great here at Tides, would recommend if you go to make sure you get the steak done medium well..

It is the softest steak I’ve ever sliced into.

Enjoy the salad because the way they place the cheese on the top makes you wonder why you never had it this way before.

Definitely a nice professional and clean atmosphere will impress your date.

Was very excited to try this new spot in the area for seafood. The place was packed and energetic for dinner. The ambiance and decor gave off an oceanic vibe that was quite nice. Our service was wonderful and everything we had from the menu was excellent. The sea bass was and scallop risotto was amazing! Could not have been happier celebrating a birthday dinner.

Beautiful ambiance, fun atmosphere, great service and delicious food! We started off with the shrimp cocktail, oysters and crab cakes. The shrimp were huge and delicious. The oysters were remarkably fresh and and meaty. The crab cakes were perfectly cooked, crispy and fluffy. We ordered the whole red snapper for our entree. It was large enough to be shared between and it was AMAZINGLY fresh and flavorful! Definitely visiting Tides again!
