Barbara Niven is the best professional PA there is at AG. She’s working WITH me on issues and not talking at me. I don’t have the insurance I had in past years. We worked to lower my medication costs through generics. She ordered the tests I needed since there is a history of colon cancer in my family. Barbara is the most knowledgeable! 10/10!

I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this facility if possible. The people on the phone have NO knowledge be it of ur scheduled appointment and address and expect time, and I am in a wheelchair paralyzed, so the phones my only hope. I scurry to try to figure out how to correctly prepare just to be told the day before that I'm not gonna make it before they close at 4 and that I'll need to spend $25 to get it wen I do..
They make the whole situation harder than it needs to be by giving half info and being vague, then they tell me they cant continue to help me because of the complications that ONLY happened due to there terrible communivations and support.

I did not have a good experience at the office yesterday. My text and email received over 10 messages each to check in for my appointment. I tried several times without being able to log in - would not give me the text to verify my identity. I had a 3p appointment so I got there at 2:40p knowing that I needed to complete the paperwork/check in. When I arrived I was informed that if the paperwork took too long I would be considered late to my appointment and would have to reschedule. So, I rushed the questions and got it back asap. The nurse that took me back was rough. She discounted my symptoms, didn’t listen to me. Then she argued with me when I told her that I have lost 15 pounds. She said I have only lost 10 pounds since my last visit 8 month. Then Barbara came in, she had the same attitude and questioned why other doctors were giving me certain meds. She didn’t listen to me and when I mentioned EOE she said where did you hear about that? She didn’t even look in my throat. She wanted bloodwork done. I told her I just had all that bloodwork done a week and a half ago. She also told me to continue taking the acid reflux meds even though the6 are not working at all. Overall, I felt dismissed. I went to the front to get an endoscopy scheduled and they are 4 weeks out. I may find an answer on my own before then. Dr. Arsene has been awesome in the past but the rest of the staff is not the best.

Barb is consistent with her professionalism. She is very compassionate and knowledgeable in gastrointestinal issues. She hit the nail on the head by diagnosing me with colitis. After I had a colonoscopy and a biopsy, I was diagnosed as having lymphocytic colitis. Exactly as Barb diagnosed. You can trust her as your doctor. You will be in great hands. Thank you Barb.

Jesslyn was great, professional, knowledgeable, and I think she recommended the best follow up procedure and plan. I'm highly disappointed in the practice's scheduling though. Scan is 3 weeks out and followup appointment is 2.5 months from now. Seems like it will be pretty irrelevant by then, and does nothing to help my condition now.
